Broken Compass Brewery

Visit the best craft brewery in Breckenridge. Located 3.5 miles North of town, Broken Compass provides a causal atmosphere with family style seating. Tours of the brewery are scheduled on arrival and a taster is included in with the Ridden fat bike tour package.

Breckenridge Distillery

Learn what sets this award winning distillery apart from others as you partake in a tasting where you will experience vodkas, gin, spiced rum, bourbon and bitters. . Tasting upgrades, food and merch is available for purchase at the distillery.

Borealis Fat Bike

All of our high performance fat bikes are Borealis. They are ridiculously easy to pedal and maneuver.

Bike Helmets

Bike helmets are included with all tour packages.

Outerwear

We recommend you wear closed toe shoes and dress for the weather. Sunglasses are highly recommended.

Family Friendly

All tours and locations are family friendly. The Broken Compass does not serve food. Bringing your own snacks is recommended or purchasing a BBQ lunch at the Breckenridge Distillery.

Experience Length

Most of the casual experiences will take 2-3 hours with ~45 minutes of cycling and 1 - 2 hours at the facility. The aggressive experiences typically experience an additional 20-30 minutes of fat biking.

Annie Kerns

Annie was brought to the Colorado mountains with her family at the age of 4 and has been calling Summit County her home for nearly a decade. Seeking a way to get "paid to play" she found herself sliding sideways on snow as a snowboard instructor and ripping single-track as a downhill mountain bike coach. Annie has been leading tours as a guide for Ridden since 2021 where she gets to share her love for this town as well as the outdoors!

Ryan Burr

Ryan, an Oregon native left the rainy Pacific Northwest for dry powder snow and single track. A local Summit County Teacher for over 25 yrs. If he’s not in the classroom or leading bike tours at Ridden you can find him backcountry skiing around the many Summit County Huts or pedaling a loaded bike on a multi day bikepacking trip. Ryan has a passion for anything outdoors and has been leading bike tours for Ridden for over 6 years.

Chris Cagno

Chris was born and raised on Long Island . Where he joined the Marines and served as a sergeant and a drill instructor.

His true passion is riding anything with two wheels . Fat tire bikes, Mountain bikes , dirt bikes , and motorcycles. Which led him to leading fat tire bike tours for Ridden over the past 5 years.

When he is not on a bike tour . You’ll find Chris skiing, riding one of his bikes or simply enjoying the great outdoors. “ I truly love my job !! It’s great to meet new people and share my knowledge of Breckenridge and the surrounding areas “
